About me
I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, advised by Dr. Ivan Lee in the AHHA Lab. My research interests include machine learning for healthcare, neuromorphic computing, bio-inspired learning, and self-supervised learning for wearable sensing. I hold an M.S. in Computer Science (Data Science concentration) from UMass Amherst and a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Goa.
My recent work includes Bio-Inspired Self-Supervised Learning for activity recognition from wrist-worn IMU signals, and QEDCartographer, a proof-synthesis tool for automated formal verification (from my previous research affiliation).
I am always happy to discuss research ideas — feel free to reach out at avarghese@umass.edu.
